BEIJING (Info-RE) 15-Aug-17 Northern Rare Earth significantly increased its listed prices for praseodymium/neodymium and neodymium for August, according to a report on the company’s website.
The company’s listed price for 99% praseodymium/neodymium oxide is RMB420,000/tonne for August, up RMB90,000/tonne from RMB420,000/tonne listed for July. And the listed price for 99% praseodymium/neodymium metal is RMB535,000/tonne, sharply rising RMB112,000/tonne month on month.
The major rare earth producer also increased its listed prices for neodymium oxide to RMB400,000/tonne and RMB510,000/tonne for neodymium metal, up RMB85,000/tonne and RMB110,000/tonne respectively from previous levels in July.
Meanwhile, a rise of RMB330/tonne for 99.95% cerium oxide’s listed price has also been seen at the rare earth giant in North China, currently holding RMB12,000/tonne. There has not been movement seen in its listed price for lanthanum oxide this month.
