U can look at it as karls brother owned part of company or loaned the money to LVT and asked for it back. Either way he had the right to the money and lvt had to pay it back to him. Karl and pete used a big chunk of their own money and own shares to pay it back. anyway u look at it karls brother had the right to the money which lvt had.
