If you listen and read very carefully you will realise that there is nothing wrong with the LAMP. The LAMP is safe and will be closely monitored to continue to operate safe. The LAMP will stay in Malaysia, NO delays there.

The part that is in question in the waste. The waste has nothing to do with the LAMP! It's just a by-product from the processing the ore at the LAMP.

If there is a problem we will need to find a solution for the waste (NOT MOVE THE LAMP OR SOMETHING REDICULOUS LIKE SOME POSTERS MENTION ON HC!!!). An please drop the 3 year as this is utterly BS. Lynas can afford to drop the waste ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD/SEE/SPACE FAR away from any populated areas. NO BIGGIE. At the current REE prices we can even look at Jupiter and make a profit.

So two thirds of the waste problem is already resolved with valid products (lynascorp.com). One third left (which is the gypsum containing some thorium with low levels of radiation.)

Now for this last third there are some alternative solutions (On the top of my head: road fill, concrete for sea barriers, thorium reactors or diluting the crap out of it), but this is not good enough for Lynas. They want to find the BEST solution like with everything they do. BEST or NOTHING!!

DYOR and don't do something that you will regret at the end of this week. Stick to your plan and follow through. We all knew it is not going to be easy but then again, you should not buy shares if you want an easy ride.
