What are our expectations for the U3 open hole test?
Same as what we have seen already in the shallow upper sheet,
or will be be pleasantly surprised?

U3 disappointed in the upper sheet follow up well.
Pressures are expected to be higher, so we shall see.. not long to wait now.

For those how don't know,
Alameda and Marti are below the 2000m level, and indeed the premise for Melbana exploring/revisiting to these depths is
the increased likelihood of higher temperatures at depth being unsupportive of microbial degradation and thus
giving a greater chance of encountering lighter oil.


Alameda and Marti are said to be geologically separated from the upper sheet,
so if we consider Schulumbergers comments,
what's awaiting us under 1.72 SG mud pressure in Alameda I think will prove Melbana's theory correct...
And then there's Marti.

Will it be the moon shot price action that even our resident critic mentioned recently?
We would have to wait too long to find out, as the drill bit will let the deeper geology do the talking.
