Remdesivir was used in Cats during the deadly coronovirus that afflicted pet cats over the last 15 years.
Even though it was a drug designed for humans it was utilised on cats. This drug never cured cats of Coronovirus however, it prevented death but the drug had to be taken for life for cats in order to prevent death.

The vaccines they did develop actually backfired on the cats that took it and quite often caused a faster death.
