You would have to think that the current covid surge in the UK, with the NHS under critical pressure, will delay the DEP-docetaxel, DEP-carbazytaxel and DEP-irinotecan trials even further. Even though cancer treatment is essential, not elective, I still think that enrolling cancer patients in clinical trials will be reduced just because the risk to them as immunocompromised patients. When 1 in 30 Londoners currently have Covid, I imagine many cancer patients would avoid going out and particularly into hospital, unless they really had to.
