A takeover would need to be approved.
An initial offer which leaves the majority of shareholders underwater would probably be rejected and see the price rise to above that yardstick. It would achieve nothing except to give the market the harsh reminder that it's been getting its opinion pieces and sentiment from people (not talking about Shapiro here) who only mention Renergen because they have a self-promotional agenda and have no skill whatsoever at valuing this type of project or company.
