I think that is a fair bit of a low-ball... After all, regardless what is going on with re-compliance, there is still a full vertically integrated hemp business with its own product and supplying a range of products for large national outlets. Additionally, they own bauxite tenements which again would be worth something at least.
Then add on top of that a premium multiplier that would need to be added in order to make the deal worth it in the first place and compensate the owners/shareholders for the lost present value of future operations...
So my initial comment still stands - I wonder what valuation would be offered for takeover - not as simple as whats in the bank.
The valuation of a company, when you are purchasing outright or controlling stake, is somewhat different to how you value a company that you are purchasing minority shares in.
