STOL usually means relatively slow cruising speed. Don’t think that’s the answer.
I was going to suggest buying some Brasilias, but I see the last one rolled off the production line back in 2001.
It’s a bit of a sticky wicket for REX. Maybe the govt will have to step in with bigger subsidies for flying routes where newer planes of the wrong size are needed to replace the Saabs.
