Ms Sams was charged with a string offences on Thursday, including malicious damage, being armed with intent and intentionally throwing an object at a vehicle.
Police also allege she held part of her body outside the window while she wasn't wearing a seat belt.
Ms Sams uploaded two images showing a bruised and bloody upper lip, and said she would be taking the matter to court.
