If I was to have a yarn to old mate Dr Rodger I would be banging on about the deal too much. As I have said a couple of times here I recon that is, and has been the biggest next step ie. PAA want Elenco to be involved in animal care only. PAA want the human treatment for PAA share holders, if you think Elenco are just going to say no wuckers mate and miss out on a cut of 50 to 60% of oncology market worth in excess of 100 billion dollars per year we are from different universes.
Elenco's patent runs out in 2023, PAA have shown that they are steadfast on the prementioned points, time is running out for Elenco they will have to come to the table soon or they will miss out altogether. PAA could easily do a deal with another major Pharma company, get a royalty payment, move onto human trials and be completely set up and ready to go with animal and human treatment, well nearly ready for human treatment, by 2023.
My thoughts only, make up your own mind.

I think NZTrader would be the person for the "next phone call". If I am reading it correctly illdrink2that and I are not trading this stock, I not saying we are happy with the way the SP is going, infact far from it. NZT could give the good Dr a different perspective, that is from a traders point of view, views on information sharing, promotion etc.
