    I would advise Rudd not to bother with any further "debates" with Abbott. These "debates" will end up as last night's, the same questions being asked and the predictable answers given.

    These debates will just be a charade. I don't believe these are vote changing events.

    Rudd would be better having old style community forum style of campaigning, meet the people, press the flesh, being asked questions and answer the questions. Such old style of campaigning is more likely to change votes.

    There are still 4 weeks left before election day; he can do quite a few of these in that time. It will be physically demanding, so, may be some of his senior ministers can share the load.
