The key question here for me is will the Chinese secure this asset for themselves or just buy it off avz ?
I cannot see them just buying it off avz without guaranteeing their supply at favourable prices for life of mine . That’s my starting premise . I would be very very surprised if this is how they allow it to unfold .
if they want to guarantee supply and price they have to be in control of avz . controlling dathomir and Dathcom and Cominiere for that matter is not enough if avz remains an independent entity .
imo avz has to slide into Chinese hands at some stage unless the west not only provide money but infrastructure deals and I can’t see them doing this .
