then to "assured independence of the greated bulk of their nation" ie - ceding territories.

tangs is suggesting that ukraine ceding territories will be a win for ukraine. which is well in line with the narratives being peddled by both, the western and ukrainian mass media.

many ukrainian media personalities and politicians have also reduced their definition of a "win for ukraine" from defeating russia on the battlefield to "as long as the remainder of ukraine remains sovereign and as long as ukraine gets to keep its black sea access, that can be declared a win".
