Read CAREFULLY what professor Peter Ridd has to say, he spent 30 years working for Townsville university, diving on the GBR and he concluded that the reef was bleached, and grew back quickly to retain the status quo , but unfortunately the Uni did not like that he would not back their nonsense about global warming was affecting the reef. So all the guys who had not been near the reef , or out of their air conditioned offices at Uni sacked him I believe
