    When I was a kid my parents left the UK for North America mainly because the tax rate at the time let you keep one penny in every pound you earned, the excuse was that the government was still repaying the debts from WW2, that was 25 years later!
    I suspect it will take a long time to balance the books with the current debts being racked up across the globe? (IMO)
