I would like to know how your BPAY clears in 20 mins too. It takes at least a day for me. This is through ANZ the same bank SWF uses. When selling shares it takes a minimum of 3 days from settlement to get the funds in another bank account. Only took one day with CMC markets.

Seems a lot of discussion in this thread where people are saying brokerage doesn't matter when it's $9.50 vs $3. Probably not enough for a lot of people to move from SWF to stake but it absolutely matters to those thinking about transferring from Commsec etc to a new broker. For most people they just want the cheapest brokerage and it is the number one consideration in assessing which broker to move to. As for me, I won't be moving to stake. I trade large amounts infrequently and the paperwork to move all my accounts is just too much effort.
