I dont know who you are and what actual share tax reporting experience you have and neither does anyone else here. I would advise anyone who is concerned about share washing to engage a qualified tax accountant who has experience in dealing with the ATO when it comes to tax reporting for their share portfolios.
My point was people buy and sell shares for all manner of reasons and the ATO can't know for sure that it is share washing, unless you are stupid to sell and buy back on June 30, that would be ridiculous and you'd deserve to get done.
