You offhandedly dismissed my comment by touting "variables" and saying "it is not common at all". You say that old support becomes new resistance, what about blue sky breakouts, with no trades to the left. there is no old support.

Maybe check out jako8557 and some of his ideas based upon Wyckoff theory, which may give you an alternate opinion. I didnt tag him cos he has lots of Qs from lots of people.
