Well, they won't get it for less than $2.50 imho and I don't think they will offer anywhere near that (at least not before more potential is uncovered thru further exploration).
Mind you, RMS did just pay a crazy amount for BCN's Barleee resource (if you consider the royalty as part of the payment). Effectively $13M for 70k oz (and BCN market cap is only $6M - huh?). And compare that to the $13M paid by Kentor Gold earlier this year for:
- two WA gold projects that are near production (one starting in 2012) and both much bigger than Barlee albeit lower grade,
- a potential company making project in Jervois,
- and the Burnakurra plant which is already right next to the WA gold projects
Not intending to plug KGL...just trying to highlight that RMS clearly don't mind throwing money around at the moment, so who knows, perhaps they will stump up an amount that will get the 'serious' shareholders interested.
