Pretty simple. It's a pretty rubbish company that is acting way too early in a developing market. This deal was the only chance for >6 month holders to profit, and it 'fell through'. I say 'fell through' because any serious investor/trader knew it would never take off.
Honestly, selling holdings and putting them in a better stock is a much better way of making money than 'in for a penny in for a pound'
