Whilst I concede your first point, and the nuanced tone of your second point, I see what SFG are trying to accomplish with this particular employee. If someone has to cash-out, they have to cash-out. All of us have been in a similar situation in our lives, myself more than once.
I also take your sardonic tone and, to an extent, add a little of my bitterness in chorus. However, the fundamentals of SFG have not changed, and PSG is moving forward with gravitas. It will happen and we will all be the better for it.
