Its called catching the little fish when all the big fish have been eaten. Eventually all the fish are gone and there will never be any fish in the pond. How would you value the reputation and good will of the ANZ bank. I bet it's worth alot more than what they could of lost if they acted responsibily to the poor holders of opes.
ANZ are going to find their growth oportunities curtailed because of this fiasco,plenty of companies have suffered collateral damage because of ANZ.
