They pay for their data as it has very basic quantitative modelling so the average punter feels like they’re getting a value add service. Quite a few of the banks use it too within their investment apps. It’s complete junk at the individual stock basis. Morningstar does a much better job of rating funds and etf’s and aren’t known for their individual stock analysis.
