The shorters are doing their best to keep a lid on things but at the same time, have no faith in their short position. Who buys back 7M shares if you didn’t want an orderly exit, or have an intention to drive the price down further?
Importantly, Can anyone explain how you can buy back 7M shares in one day, when total volume traded on the day in question being the 26th was only 1.3M?
That’s probably equal to every share purchased on this day, if you include all markets, considering the stock Price stayed exactly the same on the 26th, as it did on the 25th. Note; this is T+4.
Either poor reporting or the ASX have some legal issues?
