whilst man lives on this planet the tax system will never be fair.
someone will always have a problem with someone else not paying enough and that usually comes from those that think the world owes them something. jesus said the poor we will have always for one reason or another and whilst we do, some of those poor think that the rich dont pay their fair share.
the best system imho is to have a .01% fee (or similar) on all financial transactions and eradicate all other taxes
and as long as that attitude remains innate in the labor party we will always have a perceived class distinction
