I wish it were the case that someone might do something but from what ive seen over the years the best they can do is a speeding ticket if something jumps up or down but other that that it seems anything goes. I gave up wirying anout market manipulation when i red reports along the lines that computers were allowed to be installed at or near asx servers to allow high frequency traders to react instantly to trades and jump queues etc. I figured if asx is allowing others to install systems that will let the high frequency traders bypass normal protocols then obviously there is no real monitoring going on
