You should care about it. People who say "the market will sort it out" or "be patient" ignore the very real consequences of shorting and manipulation. For 1, capital raising at .50cents a share vs $2 a share means dramatic increase in dilution, leading to lower SP and dividends in future years as well as the potential for power imbalance among holders away from the Graham family, who I trust more than an institution.
I would prefer my patience and money earn me $50 a share with a $2 dividend as opposed to $25 with a $1 dividend.
