MAJORITY OF DEBT CONVERTED TO EQUITY The Directors are pleased to advise that holders of A$2.435m of debt in the Company (including Macquarie Bank Limited and clients of McDouall Stuart of NZ) have exercised their option to convert that debt to 12,175,000 ordinary shares. The directors regard this action as a positive statement of confidence in the company and expect that the remainder of the debt (held by NCIM, a fund out of London) will also be converted prior to maturity. In February 2006 the Company entered into an A$4.435m two-year non-revolving convertible loan note to fund the acquisition of the Bong Mieu royalty and additional investment in Olympus. Convertibility of the loan note was effected through the issue of 22,175,000 stapled options exercisable at A$0.20 on or before 27 February 2008.
