    I feel putting Boeing on the back burner this late in the schedule to try push them along would have the opposite effect. It’s taken Boeing a good 3 years to get to this point - they want to get the APB application approved, evidence by the fact their team has taken it up with the certification engineer.

    I get the frustration also but we are unfortunately at their hands - if we switched to Airbus now we would have two things I would think:

    1. Boeing would put us on the back burner - that’s a big chunk of the SHM market (B737) we could potentially jeopardise

    2. It would take another 3 years to get to the stage of finding applications, designing them, testing them and going through approval process with EASA and Airbus. Embraer represents a small piece of the SHM market - it would be a waste of resources to look for applications for them just yet.
