It happens all the time Insiders, family and friends, astute investors who have inside contacts you see increases in many smaller companies just before good news, unfortunatly it works the other way as well and long holders can get stuck with a falling knife while those in the know get out. Hopefully there is some good news coming, plenty going to happen this year imo
