Looking back oin History what was teh logic in the trial design they have chosen?

Benefits that trial design can be modified as results can be seen to more quickly advance a trail design to suit? I would consider that in regards to a new indication on a new disease and being a first mover but not case with SPL as they are revamping existing treatments? Being existing treatments there is plenty of trial data for existing treatment so as long a syour trial create =s same circumstances so data is comparable it should result in lower trial cost and faster trial.
