As soon as they say "the company remains solvent..." this is enough of a clue for me.
s 95A Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) defines solvency. Good reading... it only takes Macquire to call in their loans. A company that is not solvent is insolvent. Mutally exclusive as defined.
We are getting close now... maybe next month even, and one or two days prior to the realisation of an act of insolvency, the directors will jump into V/A.
Then you will all find out the truth about the financial position of the company from the administrator. Some will be finally relieved.
No CGT loss for the 'long term' holders then.
