Up 7.4% just today. Yesterday up another 4.5%. Am I missing something??
Obviously Katrina has everyone in a panic regarding world oil supplies (with 20+ oil rigs still "lost" and approx 10% of US oil refining capacity paralized).
The question is when the refineries are eventually fixed, etc does that mean the CTX share price goes back down? Is this simply a knee-jerk reaction in SP to the perceived value of CTX as a refiner at THIS POINT IN TIME or a sustainable SP. How long will it take to fix these US refineries? Is 10% less capacity in US refining for a period enough to cause a global oil shortage and substantially increased refining margins?
