For non-US companies, here are the listing requirements for the ‘market value’ listing method.
Market Value of listed securities Standard (must meet all the following requirements).
- Market value of listed securities of at least $35 million dollars.
n.b. For US-based companies (which I understand we are aiming to be), we would need a $50m market cap.
- At least 500,000 publicly held shares.
- Publicly held shares with a market value of at least $1 million dollars.
- At least two market makers.
- Minimum bid price of at least $1 dollar per share.
- At least 300 public holders.

Now, I have gleaned the above from 10 minutes research and I’m sure it is likely more complex, however, the $175m market cap requirement flaunted by our friend life free is blatantly incorrect. Make what you will for everything else they are saying…..agenda anyone?
We should be absolutely fine.
