For what it's worth, I'm getting exactly the same run-a-round from Link Market Services regarding the refund via the Direct Debit process.

They sent me a letter confirming refund amount and my account details on Wednesday. But no refund has occurred yet and no-one their end has any idea as to the actual problem despite numerous emails and phone calls.

In my case, the credit should be to a CBA account and as yet they have failed to produce any interbank reference number to validate their claim that a payment was attempted.
