As smarttogether quite correctly pointed out......."Generic drug companies will not be happy"
Starpharma mentioned that it's drug delivery platform can basically improve 50% of pharmaceutical products in the market, and not necessarily just oncology drugs. It was referring to drugs in general.
That's pretty impressive
Now consider this.........As we all know DEP stands for dendimer enhanced products. Products can refer to (as examples) oncology drugs, diabetes drugs, testesterone drugs etc etc etc. So if we add this to dendrimer enhanced........voila DEP
So let us talk about oncology drugs
Who would want this technology
* The big pharma's developing it's own novel molecule. Without the dendrimers it might be too toxic and not show the efficacy required to bring it to market. A case in point is Astrazeneca's AZD0466. The reason it is going into trials....??.. only because Starpharma's delivery platform vastly improved the molecule
*The big pharma's needing it to improve existing drugs in market place which are going off patent. An example of this could be Roche's Herceptin or an Astrazeneca undisclosed drug (Starpharma has signed an agreement in relation to exactly this).....
*A big pharma which specialises in generics....... Wouldn't that be something. If the likes of companies like Teva (largest generic drug manufacturers in the world) decided to purchase Starpharma outright!!!
Slowly slowly the investment world will see what real value Starpharma has
