My father has terrible shoulders. Both reconstructed 20 years ago and still both useless. The recovery from surgery was terrible and he was grey with pain. Anything to help with recovery would be worth every cent. My brother in law is now heading down the same path, one shoulder done and the other needs doing too. Told him about occ but being a stubborn human being he doesn't want to know about it because the surgeon is the expert. I think it pays to be proactive with health issues as you have been.
