Pushpay Holdings and Apple had a stock split recently. Example Afterpay at $150/share. Some kids may not be able to afford (although normal buys are $1k+), so company decides to split the sp to $50/ 3 shares making it more affordable for those people. For existing share holders, your shares will increase x3. Overall value remains the same. This is my understanding and I don't think it will happen anytime soon, price needs to be higher imo
