Production Teslas can't do Nurburgring fast. After about three minutes at speed, it enters a crippled mode due to overheating. That happens in no other car, from a lowly VW, to a LaFerrari or Bugatti.
But you aren't going to get 800 K [need proof of that figure BTW] if you drive like a boy racer. Don't make the two claims in the one sentence.
And another thing: If you use ludicrous mode tyres, @ $US400 a corner on such a heavy car will blow away any potential saving on fuel.
