Cappers also work on impatience, forcing anyone wanting to sell, to sell lower. They can then just buy up those shares.

I've been a capper quite a few times (on small caps of course), I like the set and forget nature of it after building up a position then after a couple weeks you get a nice surprise its taken out.

Its relevant because a price capper is trying hold the price down to maybe gain capital from another trade ?

Its very interesting because all you have done is put a sell order in at thew price your happy at .

The price capper is trying accumulate imo
