Never, ever believe anything a broker or analyst tells you.
In fact, you're probably safer assuming the exact opposite to be true.
Put quite simply - they have NFI, and are giving their recommendations on the basis of their own (hidden) agendas. Yes, this goes for the so-called "independents" also.
The only way to reliably make money is to DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH. Admit your mistakes, and keep losses to a minimum.
If anyone finds a sure fire way to make money, you can bet they are NOT going to go around telling everyone about it.
