Since the news of STX inclusion to ASX 200 the aggregated short position increased by about 25mln shares...
But some of the heavy selling on Thursday last week was likely also driven by those in the know about the SE3 testing results (Goldman: "will not flow"). Index funds were on the buy side and shorting (14mln reported for Thursday) combined with (some) insider trading delivered the necessary liquidity...
