Recent talk in the Age was that 4.50 was the target as there is a lot of Option / Instalment Warrants Call Warrants etc. If it is held under 4.50 for a while then all the issuers may clean with all the various premiums. Not a hundred per cent sure. The overall negative world sentiment regards telcos is not helping and it seems optus must be competing very well while Telstra has lost millions over in Asia when it paid at the top of the market. Otherwise it really is controlled by the big volume traders/insto's. I believe one of the newletters has a Telstra report out if required.
