Acreage..this is a genuine question, not point scoring and I agree with your statement you cant do research on what you don't know..and thats why I hate the banal line "do your own research' that so many posters / investors parrot. But
before drilling down into the details of a company and possibly losing sight of "the wood for trees", wouldnt' Step 1 (esp. for a speculative co.) be to look at the board size and how much skin in the game they have. A 3 man board with next to no shareholding in a speccie....doesn't that raise a large red flag? And if so why drill further down any further on so called detailed research?
