@rcman and @Bunderla - no gap on my chart either so was curious as to what was happening. Just took a look at Bund's IG chart posted yesterday and the last candle on Thursday shows a close of $1.255, not $1.265. It closed at $1.265 in the closing auction that day (chart attached). My chart is from Trading View which uses ASX data and on the daily chart shows the closing auction price as the close for the day, but on the intraday chart (15 minutes for example) you need to enable "extended hours" in the settings for the closing auction to be shown. Perhaps there is a setting on your IG charts that will show this on the daily chart? If not I'd investigate with IG .

So if you define an upward gap as the untraded area between the previous day close and the next days low then there's no gap. Majority I see define the gap as the ujntraded area between previous days high and next days low. Either way- no gap. I'm not debating gap definitions, but it would concern me if my chart was not showing what "most" people see- it annoys me as it is that I can only see ASX data and not the ChiX data and volume is not freely available..
