While it may not be a direct correlation if Tesla doesn't start getting its model 3 out soon the dream will be over. If Merc pull their share holding the company will be finished, and that will impact the move to Electric cars with all the brands.
With most analyst saying they will be out of cash by August (and yes they have been there before) it is concerning.
