The Tata Mobile SDX Paper certainly reads like a page our of SYT's book, and for good reason: they both have the same author. When GG showed his CSP to Tata several years ago, he offered them a platform that was technically able to not only manage sponsored data for an operator, but opened the possibility for them to create an entire exchange that can network with MNO's and their Virtual counterparts, with any content provider and user, through one unified and all emcompassing delivery amd billing system.

In my mind, Tata's SDX is the new fronteir and future for telcos, and it is all possible thanks to it's core technology, the CSP. Give an operator, MN(V)O, and content providers our SDK, and we open the wallet to the new data economy.

Have a close read of Tata's paper and many things become clear. The limitations mentioned, like cross border legalities etc, are matters yet to catch up to the technology, as always is the case in IT and invention in general. But listen to mother's necessity, and in time, invention will find it's way. In the mean-time, intra-state connectiivity will suffice for getting things started.

    Happy times.
