In psychology, the emotional impact of interpretations of bad news/comments is more salient than positive and has more of an influence on trading decisions. This is why a forum like hotcopper is so good for shifting public opinion within hardly known penny stocks, these people make money off this! Just look at the graph, go back and take a look at the comments during each pump and dump.. it's all clockwork.
