I get not emailing the company about producing dank memes. But looking at Freeway Overpass's Instagram with it's 10 posts 32 followers 22 following seems pretty dismal for the company since it said it was going to focus on an advertising and marketing campaign post iOS release. Social Media, especially Instagram and Facebook, are probably the best advertising platforms out there at the moment. I know personally, that is where the majority of the advertising I see comes from. I haven't bothered plugging the TV into an aerial because we just use Netflix, the only magazines I seem to read are when I'm on a plane, Billboards are a bit outdated for reaching a wide audience. I understood the under utilisation of these social media platforms when the product wasn't in a marketable state, but I would have thought these would be easy areas to build a base, not even necessarily with sponsored ads. Perhaps it is in their marketing plan, I'm not sure, but for a global disruptive company to have a worse social media presence than any small local business is surprising/concerning.
